Last year, Charland used sobriety as a troubadour and began creation photographs of objects as they fell opposite print paper. Inspired by Stephen Hawking, Brian Greene, Lisa Randall, and Carl Sagan, he prisoner a transformation of a objects and a fuzz they combined when they came into hit with light. In dual dimensions, a line became a square; when that block was stretched in 3 dimensions, it became a cube; and so forth. These experiments eventually became a photograms in “Redshift.”
