DIY Friday: Make a Photo Frame and Lampshade for Your Home with Repurposed Fabric!

Happy DIY Friday! This week, conform consultant Lawrence Zarian and TV celebrity Tanya Memme stopped by Hallmark Channel’s strike daytime speak uncover Home Family to denote how to qualification a repurposed fabric print support and lampshade! Check out a directions below.

Materials for Frame:

  • 5×7 Frame

  • T-shirt/garment

  • Glue gun

  • Scissors

Materials for Lampshade

  • Lampshade

  • Hot glue gun

  • Pencil

  • Embellishments (necklaces, bracelets, earrings, etc.)

Frame Instructions:

  1. Using your scissors, cut your essay of wardrobe in plane pieces

  2. Wrap a pieces around a design frame, use a glue gun to glue a ends of a fabric in place

  3. As your hang your pieces around a frame, glue ends as necessary

  4. Set support aside

  5. Glue a print directly to a glass, tiny dots of glue in any corner

  6. Glue a card subsidy onto a behind of a photo

  7. Glue a front of a potion to a frame

Lampshade Instructions:

  1. Put all of your valuables on a list and emanate your pattern

  2. Put identical looking valuables forms in piles

  3. Choose that lampshade coordinates best with a thesis of your valuables and pattern

  4. Glue your pieces of valuables in place

Decorative Options:

  • Glue necklace on bottom or top

  • Glue necklace along a bottom

  • Hook earrings all along a bottom of your lampshade

  • Glue broaches or a accumulation of valuables directly on to a lampshade
