A good camera has always been a blank part in a Moto X series.

Motorola betrothed to repair it for good with this year’s Moto X Pure Edition. Along with bumping adult a shade to 5.7 inches and Quad HD resolution, Motorola paid a lot of courtesy to a camera, make-up in a 21MP shooter with an f/2.0 aperture. It’s a good strike from a 2014 model, that had a 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

However, specs never tell a whole story. Consider that a iPhone 6, with a 8 megapixel f/2.2 camera, takes stunning photos, distant higher to those of a 2014 Moto X. Given that a muted camera on a 2014 Moto X was a bruise mark holding behind an differently illusory phone, we motionless to compensate special courtesy to a camera on this year’s model.

The exam parameters

For comparison we’re regulating 3 phones: a freshly-arrived Moto X Pure Edition, 2014 Verizon-branded Moto X, and a Galaxy Note 5 (arguably a best camera on an Android phone today).
